Relationships – Janie Nichols, 22

Janie Nichols, a fourth-year history major at Baylor University, talks about her family relationships during the Covid-19 pandemic. She says that the transition of coming together with her family has been an adjustment since she is used to her life in Waco with her own apartment. However, she is learning to live together again with her family in San Antonio and appreciate her time with them.

“We’ve all formed our own individual lives outside of what it means to live together and be together. And we’re all thrown back into the same living space and we really have to navigate that.”
